Corrective Exercise
Many people stop exercising when they get hurt or fall ill, and find it hard to start again once on the road to recovery. This does not have to be the case: it is now well accepted by healthcare professionals that increased mobility and light to moderate activity can benefit the recovery process.
Chrysalis Fitness provides a complementary service, working alongside chiropractors and physiotherapist to help promote a full recovery. Individuals need to be motivated and encouraged with positive, progressive, programmes that support the use of the injured or affected area.
Clients will receive a full functional and postural assessment which allows Chrysalis Fitness to develop individual Corrective Exercise Programmes, specifically tailored to that persons injury and their particular recovery requirements. Programmes are designed to be enjoyable, realistic (within the client’s range of movement) and achievable. There will be a mixture of supervised and unsupervised sessions, allowing the client to continue the recovery process in their own home, or otherwise away from the studio.
Chrysalis Fitness will guide the client through their recuperation, providing continuous mentoring, motivation and programme management.
